Recap

This got a little odd on Friday and I got stoped out on my NITE Long and GMR Short. I would have liked to take some profits off the table on my oil shorts and not hold them over the weekend. Due to work issues I was unable to do this. I’ll see if this comes back to bite me in the ass.

I put in one long on OMG and didn’t get triggered in.

I also read an interesting article on Move The Markets regard on how to Tell if the Trade is Good. This is making me rethink a few things about my trading journal and may make some adjustments to bring in aspects of this article.

Recap

Well I had a lot of action today. I booked 1/2 profits on my NITE Long and PTV Long and have myself set up in such a way that I have no risk on any of my current long positions – I love that. I did get triggered in on three new trades – VLO Short, GMR Short, SGY Short. I put in the orders this morning when oil was up and didn’t expect to get anything. But I did. The problem is this puts me in a position of having 2.26% of my account at risk – or 45% of my max risk. I’m not to sure how I feel about this. I’ll look over the interday charts here with my end goal of getting some of that off the table ahead of Fridays action.
