I was reading an article the Down Town Trader about the comparsion between the ETF volume and the actual index. I remember reading in Price Headly book about this same topic. He brings up the compairsion can be used to see the difference between Smart Money (volume on index) and the Retail Money, or Dumb Money (volume on the ETF).

Here you can see a few interesting examples that exist regarding this volume. The the last decline we had earlier this year you can see that the Retail Money was far more scared about the drop than was the Smart Money. But during this last run up it almost seems that they are not as interested as the Retail investors. I have no idea what to make of this except maybe it’s not as strong as the people trading the SPY think.

Brett over at Trade Feed wrote a great piece on Focus. I feel his type of information is far more important that what the S&P will do next.

Over at Trader Mike site he is having another trader write some post and place them on his blog. Here is a post that Michelle wrote that very funny. It goes to show how important the words we use are, and how they can drive our thoughts. And we as traders all know that our thought can be very misleading, that’s why we need rules.

It’s alway interesting to see another traders plan and rules. Tyro Trader gives us a layout for his trading.

Here is an interesting link to the top 100 ebooks. Lifehacker also shows how to take the web offline.
